Mobility Over Water Barriers

Combat support and combat service support are under-appreciated assets that magnify an army's capability to fight. South Korea's army is prepared to keep moving:

In late 2020 South Korea decided to spend $458 million to purchase 110 M3 amphibious bridging and ferry vehicles. These are used to quickly create a floating bridge capable of move tanks and the heaviest armored vehicles over a waterway. The South Korea M3 vehicles will all be delivered by 2025. These will be used to replace South Korean bridges damaged by a North Korean attack or to provide needed bridges if South Korea advances into North Korea.

If North Korea tried to invade with its ramshackle army and destroyed bridges behind South Korean lines ti impede supply and reinforcements, South Korea can quickly replace lost bridges.

The bridging capability will also come in handy if South Korea wants to advance north to create a no-launch zone to protect Seoul from bombardment

Or go deeper.

Anyway, a lot of things that contribute to victory aren't on popular military power comparisons.
