All hail the latest hope of peace for out time:
Iran's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi has said Tehran will never abandon the Arak heavy water reactor, considering it a "red line" in talks with world powers, media reported Sunday.
"Your actions and words show you don't want us to have the Arak heavy water reactor which means you want to deprive us of our rights," Salehi was quoted as saying by the website of state broadcaster IRIB.
"But you should know that it is a red line which we will never cross, likewise enrichment" of uranium.
Embrace the thoroughness of their contempt for us.
Not only do the Iranians deny that the interim deal will have any long-term effect on their uranium and plutonium production plans, but they insist that defending those programs is a "red line" that we can do nothing about.
Contrast that with the "red line" our president set over Assad's use of chemical weapons and which he allowed Assad to cross without punishment. That WMD deal is now simply shielding Assad's war against his people.
Have a super sparkly day.
