Send in the Police

I've long suspected that the European Union would attempt to enforce their version of the Brezhnev Doctrine should anyone try to leave the EU.

I just never imagined the Germans would lead the fraternal troops in:

Germany's Angela Merkel on Wednesday warned Britain not to turn its back on Europe ahead of talks in London with Prime Minister David Cameron aimed at overcoming divisions that threaten to block a European Union budget deal later this month.

These days, it's the British who could send the police should the Germans land their army in Britain.
