A Hamburg judge has filed a criminal complaint against Chancellor Angela Merkel for "endorsing a crime" after she stated she was "glad" that Osama bin Laden was killed by US forces. Meanwhile a new poll reveals that a majority of Germans do not see the terrorist's death as a reason to celebrate.
What happened to Germans? When they were our enemies through two world wars, they fought hammer and tong and were quite possibly the best soldiers in the world, man for man.
Now, as a paper ally, they remain efficient bureaucrats and build nice cars, but refuse to even let us fight our enemies without shrieking in little girl voices over what we do to defend ourselves--let alone fight at our side.
From the roar of panzers to the high-pitched whining of pansies in just three generations. Good grief, the French could beat them now.
On the bright side, given our record of transforming defeated enemies, perhaps this means that in the long run we can look forward to the idea of jihad really being an introspective quest to better oneself.
