Still Not America

If Canada likes to define itself on how unlike America it is, as it is sometimes said (sorry for that passive diffusion of sources) the election of Barack Obama perhaps guaranteed this result in yesterday's national elections:

Canada voted yesterday, and Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper, at the head of minority governments after the elections of 2006 and 2008, has now seen his party win an absolute majority in the House of Commons.

Give the Canadians six more years of an Obama administration and Canadian special forces will be swooping into Pakistani towns to unilaterally kill terrorists.
