An additional update on materials, quite a bit of materials that were found at the sight and collected: Those materials are currently being exploited and analyzed. And a task force is being set up at CIA to conduct that task, given the volume of materials collected at the raid site.
This information isn't as satisfying as the violent end of bin Laden, but it is probably more important in the long run to dismantle al Qaeda and find their enablers.
The really funny thing is, we'll learn a lot as we watch even if we retrieved no material, since other al Qaeda may not be able to sit tight and hope we learned nothing.
UPDATE: Without any specific information, just watching for jihadis to go on the move gives us a chance to kill them. Perhaps in their haste to avenge the death of their leader, Afghan forces nailed infiltrators in a battle:
Overnight. Afghan troops in the east, caught a large group of armed Arabs, Chechens and Pakistanis crossing the border. In the subsequent fighting, at least 25 of the al Qaeda (most likely) gunmen were killed or wounded. The remainder fled back into Pakistan. The Afghan troops were out watching crossing points on the border because of intel warnings that al Qaeda forces in Pakistan would move to Afghanistan and try to stage attacks on Americans to avenge the recent death of al Qaeda founded Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
Remember that all those threats that al Qaeda will "retaliate" are opportunities to kill them. Continue the mission.
