Time Selective

The White House takes apart a Time cover piece extraordinary in its blindness to facts in its rush to claim a major change in our policy.

The last time I read a piece of Ratnesar's I was not impressed. His analysis this time does not impress me either. Time magazine has published yet another astonishingly dense article by this man. Time should be so proud to have such talent writing for them.

The very fact that the White House took the time to debunk it should tell you that we are still leaning forward in our war and haven't lost the stomach for winning the Long War.
