Ukraine's new leader said he called Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday to urge him to help halt fighting in eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he asked the Russian leader to "influence the other side so that they stop killing our people." Zelenskiy's call came a day after four Ukrainian soldiers were killed by pro-Russia insurgents.
Zelenskiy asked Putin to urge the other side to stop fighting and killing his people?
I see Ukraine's president is going along with the Russian fiction that Russia didn't invade the Donbas.
As I've said, "hybrid warfare" is very simple:
- Russia invades a country.
- Russia denies invading a country.
- And the rest of the world goes along with that fiction.
Sure, Ukraine is weaker than Russia so has some reason to go along with the fiction in public.
What is the excuse for the rest of the world? Or the media that mislabel Russian puppets as "insurgents?"
Russia of course blames Ukraine for fighting around Russian-occupied Donbas.
