Nation Building at Home

A number of critics of waging war abroad say we should nation build at home, instead.

Given that some of our nation's politicians have a regrettable failure to appreciate rule of law and democracy, I think maybe those calling for nation building at home are right, and we should deploy troops to Chicago in a desperate effort to get the local warlords to break their corrupt and authoritarian past to build real democracy.
