Once Upon a Time

There was once a time when proper leftists condemned the brutal Baathist regime in Iraq and slammed America for doing nothing about Saddam.

That all changed in 1990 once America began doing something about Saddam.

That's pretty darned nuanced for me. But I'm on record as admitting I need nuance instruction.

More to the point, trying to satisfy our foreign critics is a fool's errand.
