Papers, Please

The European Union continues to interdict NATO supply lines better than Russia's air force could possibly manage.

The EU lets people move freely across national borders, but not NATO forces

If Russia attacks a NATO country, European and American soldiers would need to reach the alliance's eastern flank as fast as possible.

But current obstacles to swift movement include lengthy and fragmented administrative processes to carry war materiel across borders; inadequate infrastructure — including bridges and tunnels — to move armored vehicles; and a lack of transport capacity such as rail cars.

The EU is America's enemy. And European citizens should fear it, too. You think I was joking about the power of 10,000 EU cheese regulations?

Six years and a Russian invasion ago, the EU announced it had a plan to fix the infrastructure problems and cut that border red tape for NATO movement and logistics. Yet here we are.
