An American aid worker taken hostage with three other peace activists was apparently tortured before he was shot in the head and chest and his body dumped near a railroad line in Baghdad, Iraqi police said Saturday.
I've said this again and again, but it apparently bears repeating: our enemies hate us--all of us. You can tie dye your shirts. You can live in a blue state. You can live on granola and trail mix. You can have your own personal copy of Michael Moore's "Fahreneit 911." You can profess the goodness of our jihadi enemies and denounce America.
And yet still the jihadis will torture you until they get bored, shoot your sorry infidel ass, and dump your body for the flies to feast on.
I'm sorry Tom Fox was murdered. I'm even more sorry that he was stupid enough to think that our enemies actually have rational, negotiable demands that can fall short of our death or subjugation.
Learn from this. Or it will happen again. On a scale as large as the jihadis can manage.
