And the Winner Is--Der Spiegel!

So Mike Wallace of CBS interviews Ahmadinejad , the president of Iran; and Der Spiegel interviews former American president Jimmy Carter.

Only one of them looks half-way good. And would you believe Der Spiegel turns out to be the most reasonable of them all? Not that this is a particular compliment to the German publication, as you can see in their questions. But they do win the contest given the class curve established by a president who hates America, a Journalistic American, and Ahmadinejad.

Of course, the president whose experience includes the hostage crisis at our embassy in Tehran after Khomeini seized power nearly three decades ago sounded addled and insane in his anti-American venom.

And no, I don't need to be more specific on that statement.
