Stone Cold Killer

The Bowe Bergdahl saga could enter new terrain.

The Obama administration touted their prisoner exchange that brought Bergdahl home as leaving no American behind.

But the details coming out are making a trial rather than a parade the more likely outcome (via Instapundit):

Asked if the process of repatriation would include questioning of Bergdahl geared towards determining whether he engaged in any forms of collaboration with the enemy, the counterterrorism official replied: "Of course. ... It's there. This is extremely untidy."

I read elsewhere that Bergdahl may have trained Taliban--not that he had anything special forces-worthy. But the effort alone is damning, if true.

Perhaps President Obama has decided to improve his street cred in the world, shaken about his resolve.

After all, if President Obama moved Heaven and Earth to bring back one deserter in order to put him on trial and execute him after standing on stage with his parents, that beats firing a bunch of air traffic controllers, rep-wise, any day.
