Is This the Game We're Playing Now?

Explain to me again the reasons we shouldn't help Ukraine arm up because it might provoke Russia.

Russia doesn't seem too worried about provoking Britain:

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is to conduct a review of its plans for the defence of the Falkland Islands following reports that Russia is to supply Argentina with Sukhoi Su-24 'Fencer' strike aircraft, UK media reported on 28 December.

The review follows a report in the Daily Express newspaper that Russia is to lease 12 Su-24s to the Argentine Air Force (Fuerza AĆ©rea Argentina - FAA) in return for foodstuffs.

On the day France finally sends that Mistral amphibious warfare ship to Russia, Britain could exercise the nullification option I wrote about and sell anti-ship missiles (and Mistral blueprints) to any state with a coastline bordering Russia.
