Super Genius At Work

Don't worry that President Obama doesn't like to participate in the presidential daily briefings on intelligence matters. He is “among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet.”

Thank goodness. But our intelligence bureaucracy has adapted to the president's preference for simply reading the briefings rather than interacting with the intelligence agency representatives:

I just don't believe President Obama believes he is a war president.

Even President Carter finally reacted to the Soviet threat after the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. The Reagan military build up began under Carter, don't forget.

Is our president as capable of learning as President Carter?

And isn't it scary that the answer isn't clear?

UPDATE: I'll rally around the flag when it looks like our president is holding the flag staff. Otherwise, holy dissent (at least it was from 2001 to 2008) is on.
