You Won't Like Hulk When He Gets Angry

The Chinese picked a great time to indulge in their national pastime of angry chants outside the Japanese embassy. It must be more of their patient, long-term thinking in action.

And this is how they act when they are simply "rising" rather than the all-powerful Middle Kingdom that does what it wants and tells the world to get used to it--and pretend you like it unless you want things to get worse. Check it out:

Thousands of Chinese besieged the Japanese embassy in Beijing on Saturday, hurling rocks, eggs and bottles as protests broke out in other major cities in China amid growing tension between Asia's two biggest economies over a group of disputed islands.

Paramilitary police with shields and batons barricaded the embassy, holding back and occasionally fighting with slogan-chanting, flag-waving protesters who at times appeared to be trying to storm the building.

"Return our islands! Japanese devils get out!" some shouted. One of them held up a sign reading: "For the respect of the motherland, we must go to war with Japan." ...

Users also reported protests in other, smaller cities, which included looting of shops and destruction of Japanese cars.

Wow, they even have the whole Islamist car-hatred in the act!

Yes indeed, associate China's rise in power with the nutball Islamists who celebrate our deaths. That's the way to convince China's neighbors that they don't need another submarine or squadron of advanced fighters!

Now that's awesomely long-range soft-power thinking in action!
