What? Me Worry?

Hey, we lost over 4500 American troops to free and defend Iraq, spending over $700 billion in the process, and yet Iraqis don't think we can be relied on to protect them?

This is what our new, more nuanced, post-cowboy reputation gets us in Iraq:

A top Iraqi official said Thursday that Baghdad had begun receiving arms from Russia under a historic $4.3-billion deal it signed last year but then scrapped amid corruption allegations. ...

Moscow media reports at the time of the deal's signing said it involved 30 Mi-28 attack helicopters and 42 Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile systems.

Unsure of American resolve, Iraqis accept Iranian influence and reach out to Russia.

I wonder how many of those Pantsir air defense systems wander across the border into Iran?

Ah yes, the tide of American power war recedes. Or is it that the president responsibly ended our influence wars in the Middle East?

It's madness, I tell you.
