Notify Albright

I will grant that Ledeen's article about grand trends makes the death of one terrorist a relatively small item, but still this seems like good news:

Osama bin Laden finally departed this world in mid-December. The al Qaeda leader died of kidney failure and was buried in Iran, where he had spent most of his time since the destruction of al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The Iranians who reported this note that this year's message in conjunction with the Muslim Haj came from his number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, for the first time.

How can this be true since we have obviously had him on ice to publicize as part of an October Surprise for the 2004 general election is beyond me.

Perhaps we failed to give him proper medical treatment. Notify Amnesty International immediately. And give them former Secretary of State Albright's number so she can verify that we had Osama in custody all along.

I would have rather he died at the hands of US troops; but if true, I'll be satisfied that he is dead.
