A Century of Broken Eggs But Still No Omelet

Why smart people still buy this totalitarian system is beyond me. Are they unable to see a pattern?

Nobody can get away with arguing that "true Nazism" hasn't been tried to defend their support for National Socialism; yet communists continue to get away with it.

Disgusting:

The Times has been running a series on Communism called “The Red Century.” It’s really, really weird. At times, it feels like the greatest high-brow trolling effort in recorded history. Some of the headlines read like they were plucked from the reject pile at The Onion. I particularly enjoyed “Why Women Had Better Sex Under Socialism.” One wonders what all the women who had to service their prison guards for a crust of bread would think about that. With the exception of one essay by Harvey Klehr, the upshot seems to be an effort to rehabilitate Communism for a certain kind of New York Times liberal who desperately needs to cling to the belief that he was on the right side of an argument he lost.

And remember, in communist ideology "socialism" is just the intermediate step of building communism (and "democratic socialism" in my opinion is just the intermediate step to socialism--if we allow it).

That intermediate step of socialism wrecked Venezuela despite all their oil, showing that socialism can eff up a wet dream.

But people still dream it can be paradise. It's almost like communism is the opiate of the masses elites, or something.
