President-elect Donald Trump said he does not need to receive the presidential intelligence briefing every day, suggesting in an interview aired Sunday that such briefings are repetitive and he is happy to rely on those around him on matters of intelligence and national security.
I know that Democrats who were content to have President Obama downgrade the importance of the Presidential Daily Briefings (PDB) are up in arms over this, but I share their newly discovered horror.
This book should be updated, it seems.
President Trump should absolutely accept these briefings. The world became far more dangerous over the last eight years and fully grasping the scope of threats is necessary--big league.
