If our Air Force is determined to shed the excellent tank killing A-10 ground support aircraft, perhaps we could provide 30 or so of the planes to Ukraine cheap, and train pilots and ground crews to operate the aircraft.

Perhaps President Obama can start with this expense as a NATO-wide initiative to build a credible deterrent to Russian aggression, given his concern:

At a news conference in Belgium, President Obama said he is concerned not all NATO members are "chipping in" toward the cost of a collective defense and deterrent against Russia.

A start, of course.
