Well There's Your Problem Right There

This Volt commercial is hilarious:

The Volt is the car GM had to build?

I guess the wisdom of this vehicle depends on why GM had to build it. Is it because consumers want it? Or is it because the Obama administration said GM had to build it?

The Soviet Union showed that it was no problem for a command economy to produce lots of stuff. But it was rarely what consumers wanted. It was only sheer chance that the government knew what consumers actually wanted and ordered the right stuff produced.

No worries, Obamacare already shows us that the Obama administration thinks it has a way around that inconvenient problem of demand as opposed to supply. How long before you have to buy a Volt or face a fine?
