Winning

Pew surveyed Americans about the war on terror. One conclusion:

A plurality of U.S. veterans of the post-9/11 military believes the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were worth fighting, and a majority think that after 10 years of combat we have been successful enough that America can afford to focus less on foreign affairs and more on its own problems, according to an opinion survey released Wednesday.

Of course, that quote above isn't what the article says. That's my reaction. The article said:

One in three U.S. veterans of the post-9/11 military believes the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were not worth fighting, and a majority think that after 10 years of combat America should be focusing less on foreign affairs and more on its own problems, according to an opinion survey released Wednesday.

Huh. That is different, isn't it?
