9/11's Day Speech

The Final Act

America
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he on 9/11 that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;

Britain
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd,
And hold their manhoods cheap.

I cry for the West when the Thin Red Line is dashed. Perhaps there will always be a Britain. But will we recognize it? Will it be worthy of its history?
