Wait. What?

On the face of it, after all we've been through, you'd think that it would be good news that the Obama administration is taking foreign policy advice from the outside (tip to Mad Minerva, although in the spirit of killing the messenger, darn her to heck for making me aware of this):

Wowy, zowy, Obama is doing his own thinking on the Middle East and here’s the even worse news: He’s taking advice from Tom Friedman and Fareed Zakaria.

Friedman? Really? I'm not saying you couldn't drown in a pool of Friedman's wisdom, but you would have to be drunk and face down to do so.

As for Zakaria, the man couldn't find his own buttocks with both hands and a GPS signal.

My God, how little do you have to know about foreign policy to think that anything these two giants in their own minds advise is a good idea?

We're doomed. Quite simply, we're doomed. Only discovering that Lawrence Korb is the third leg of this stool of foreign policy idiocy could make me more depressed.

Clearly, I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
