How the Mighty Have Fallen

Osama bin Laden, once the big man on campus who battled the Soviet Union occupation of Afghanistan and struck at the heart of America on 9/11, is reduced to debating the French about their role in fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan:

Bin Laden reminded the French people of Sarkozy's refusal in November to withdraw French troops from Afghanistan and to negotiate with al-Qaida over the hostages.

"Your president's rejection is a result of being a hireling to America and is a green light to kill the hostages. ... His stand will cost you a high price on different aspects inside or outside France," he said.

The al-Qaida leader questioned why the French would consider the resistance against Nazi German troops occupying their nation in World War II to be heroic while the fight against French and other foreign troops in Afghanistan is labeled terrorism.

"Why do you judge in a double standard?" he said.

Well that's just sad.

Al Qaeda also said the French can't afford the fight. Big finance talk for a group asking Western radicals to fund al Qaeda through tax evasion:

The editorial underlines the major role Western radicals can play in dealing with the terrorists’ need for funding, writing that “we urge our brothers in the West to take it upon themselves to give this issue a priority in their plans.” Even better, the magazine notes, by avoiding taxes sympathizers can “finance it from the pockets of their enemies.”

What losers. Murderous losers, mind you. But whining and begging are hardly signs that they are the "strong horse" in this struggle.

Find them. Kill them. Help Islam reject their murderous ideology.
