What Parliament is doing to Britain is a dark day, indeed, for democracy. The contempt Parliament (and their EU brethren) is showing to the people of Britain should be the only thing you need to know to conclude Britain must get out of the proto-imperial European Union now.
For all the talk that this is about stopping a no-deal Brexit, do not become confused. This is an attempt to stop any Brexit. Mere votes of the people in various European states have not stopped the EU from nullifying those votes. Sure, Britain is hanging tougher on this. But the EU apparatchiki and their fawning vassals in Britain's Parliament believe they can outlast those peasants who refuse to submit to their betters.
Why are the Brussels proto-tyrants appealing at all to the British? If the EU is the way the British want to go, why did they waste blood and treasure resisting past tyrannies that wanted to suck Britain into a continental empire?
Consider, too, the utter stupidity of Parliament in ruling out a no-deal Brexit. How convenient for the EU to know they don't need to compromise one damn bit in terms to govern Britain's exit from the EU. That level of stupidity is simply awesome. Or the level of anti-democratic fervor is frightening. I of course, side with the latter view because those people clearly want to reverse Brexit.
I did warn the British that the fight would be a long one. Just win it.

Senior [British] MPs opposing a no-deal Brexit sought assurances from the EU that their bid for a three-month delay would be granted, it has emerged.
European leaders were sounded out before MPs, including the “rebel alliance”, passed a bill, which is expected to receive royal assent on Monday, forcing Boris Johnson to ask for an extension.
