Earning Respect

The Iranians have challenged the Royal Navy 115 times in the last two months. One wonders how many Iranians the Royal Navy will have to kill before the Iranians settle down.

This is interesting:

Commander Will King, 41, said the Revolutionary Guards Corps has “heavily” tested HMS Montrose with fast-attack craft and drones on a near daily basis.

The Royal Navy has some work to do to reverse the damage to the services reputation that this incident inflicted.

To be fair, the United States Navy had a similar incident to overcome. But our Navy has a lot more power to make it clear that our attitudes have changed.

What will King's forces have to do with fewer assets on hand to convince the Iranian nutballs to back off?

I assume our Navy is working closely with the British in case the Iranians get too aggressive.
