Another Missile in a Box

I'm late to this news about a ballistic missile, but it is yet another weapon system for The AFRICOM Queen:

Though the concept has yet to find its big break, defense contractors continue to expand on the idea of highly mobile weapon systems that meet the size and weight restrictions of standard shipping containers. Now, Israel has tested such a system and says it has buyers already in line.

On June 20, 2017, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) said it had successfully test-fired its Long-Range Artillery (LORA) system from a containerized launcher on the back of a truck sitting on the deck of a cargo ship.

I proposed a modularized auxiliary cruiser, which I christened The AFRICOM Queen, as a useful power projection platform around Africa in the absence of conventional Navy assets needed in higher threat theaters.

So now we have another weapon that could be mounted on container ships to build that auxiliary cruiser.
