No Fear

At some level this offends me.

I'm higher on the food chain and I'm sitting in a virtual weapon capable of smearing these beasts.

Yet here I (and others) sit in my car, waiting for the geese to cross the road before proceeding.

Ponder that in other environments, the geese would fear for their lives anywhere near humans.

But here, nobody hunts them. Meat comes in plastic-wrapped platters or comes prepared from a restaurant kitchen. Who would hunt, clean, and cook a city goose?

It's really a matter of the respect.
