Felons in California jails to be allowed to vote:

Despite widespread opposition from law enforcement, Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday signed a bill that will allow thousands of felons in county jails to vote in California elections as part of an effort to speed their transition back into society.

Yeah. It's all about reducing recidivism. Riiight.

It isn't only that this is pure politics by Democratic politicians looking for voters.

It's the idea that these prisoners, who have been put into jails by Democratic-run city governments under laws passed by a Democratic-run state will vote for Democrats.

Amazing.
