Answering the Question "Why Do We Hate Us?"

After I asked (again), "why do we hate us?" for the incomprehensible efforts of some Americans who are always trying to twist reality by blaming America for jihadi hatred and murder, this author tries to answer the question.

And by "we" I of course mean our Left that has always swooned over thug regimes and movements as the Great Progressive Hope:

Exploiting the myth of Muslim persecution, progressives oppose scrutiny of the Muslim community, including terror-promoting imams and mosques. They immediately denounce proposals to screen Muslim immigrants as religious bigotry, and thus close off any rational discussion of the problem. Led by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Democrats have enabled the Islamist assault on free speech, which is a central component of the Islamist campaign to create a worldwide religious theocracy. Most notoriously the president and his operatives cynically spread the lie that an obscure Internet video about Mohammed was behind the Benghazi terror attack. Speaking like an ayatollah before the U.N. General Assembly, shortly after the attack, Obama declared: “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” What an American president should have said is: “The future must not belong to those who murder in the name of Islam.”

The article is about more than the war against Islamo-fascist terror. So do read it all.

I just don't get it. America has been extremely good to a lot of these progressives who see only bad in America. Yet still they seem to despise what our country is.

Sometimes people wonder how I could still be conservative after living in Ann Arbor for so long. The fact is, seeing how the far left bizarrely views America as the source of evil is what keeps me conservative. Whatever my disappointment in conservative leaders, the alternative is unacceptable.

Or should be unacceptable.
