Scratchscritchscratchscritch

That's the sound of all those "Already Against the Next War" bumper stickers being scraped off of Prius bumpers.

The kill list is still active:

The U.S. military conducted a "counter terrorism strike" on Saturday night against an al Qaeda-associated militant in Libya, the Pentagon said on Sunday.

Was this finally retaliation for the September 11, 2012 Benghazi terror attack?

Or just related to the mayhem in Libya since Khadaffi was killed and jihadis flowed into Libya?

Not that I'm blaming President Obama for jihadis going to Libya. Jihadis go where they can. And the solution isn't to keep thug rulers able to smash down the entire population in order to suppress jihadis--which they ultimately fail to do, anyway.

The problem is the jihadis themselves and their recruitment base--not where they go to plan, kill, and die.

So good that some were killed. I await news about how many are good jihadis now.

UPDATE: This is the man we targeted, although we aren't claiming success:

The recognized [Libyan] government said the strike had killed Mokhtar Belmokhtar, an Algerian militant who became a major figure in insurgencies across North Africa and the Saharan border region and was dubbed "The Uncatchable" by the French military.

The U.S. military confirmed Belmokhtar had been targeted in Saturday night's air strike but did not say if he was killed.

He's long been a problem.
