Irreconcilable Differences

Every day, I thank God that President Obama has restored our reputation abroad and unraveled the Bushtatorship that his evil predecessor inflicted on America and the entire world. Wait. What?

The United States heard widespread concern Monday over excessive use of force by law-enforcement officials against ethnic minorities as it faced the U.N.'s main human rights body for a review of its record.

Washington also faced calls to work toward abolishing the death penalty, push ahead with closing the Guantanamo Bay prison and ensure effective safeguards against abuses of Internet surveillance as it appeared before the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva. This year's is the second review of the U.S. rights record, following the first in 2010.

Are these people ignorant? Did nobody at the State Department send them the memo that President Obama (hope be upon him) is in charge now, and Bush 43 is in internal exile in Texas?

Haven't these people been given detailed descriptions about how to apply the soothing balms of hope and change to their souls to appreciate what America can become under the unique World Citizen of Barack Hussein Obama? A concoction so potent it can tame nuclear-seeking mullah-run Iran in only ten years of intense treatment?

How can these UN member states act this way when we've changed so much? When we worship the United Nations? When we're so hopeful and stuff?

The sainted international community kept telling us our troublesome relations with them were our fault. Our Left agreed. But still the sainted international community seems unsatisfied with us.

I'm starting to think our problems with the UN are caused by them and not us. Huh.
