Reality Creep Is More Like It

It's amusing (in a sickening sort of way) that some Democrats are worried about "mission creep" after President Obama sent military personnel to Iraq and authorized air attacks on jihadists (the president used that word) in Iraq.

"Mission creep?"

I'm confused. Aren't we already at war with jihadists? That "war on terror" thing? 

If we aren't at war, what's with that "kill list" and our drone campaign?

So killing jihadists in Iraq isn't mission creep. It is the mission.

What we have is "reality creep" as the president realizes he did not responsibly end the Iraq War and that the Cairo outreach had zero effect on the jihadis.
