Question Time

While the left has been mute on the issue the last four years and three months, they still seem to think that jhadis attack us--including the Boston bombing by Chechens who you'd expect would hate Russia--because we are at war in the Moslem world.

But we are out of Iraq. And I thought Afghanistan was the good war. And didn't the left eagerly vote for Barack Obama even though he promised to attack Pakistan if that is what it took to finish off the "good war?"

But nonetheless, they say, our history of wars in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan have quite naturally inflamed Moslems to attack us.

One, I always knew our left would turn against the good war of necessity in Afghanistan. I mean, duh.

And two, it is odd that our wars in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan haven't seemed to inspire Kuwaitis, Iraqis, and Afghans to plot to attack us here at home. It's always someone else who seeks to kill us.

Why is that the case if the wars are the cause of anger? Seriously, if liberating oppressed Moslems is considered such an awful thing by so many Moslems outside of those liberated areas, isn't that a problem with the perceptions of those non-involved Moslems rather than a problem with our actions?

And if Moslems start having days of rage because we haven't saved Syria, will that be an indication that it's them and not us as the source of the problem?

Face it, it's a fool's game to forever ponder the question, "Why do they hate us?" and always come up with reasons that resonate within the liberal echo chamber. Just ask, "Why do they hate? Full stop."
