Our SOBs?

As we draw down in Afghanistan and seem to be looking for ways to avoid trying to defeat our Taliban enemies, let's remember what kind of sons of bitches the Taliban are:

A Taliban leader in Pakistan said that until the United States stops drone strikes—like the one that killed al-Qaida no. 2 Abu Yahya al-Libi earlier this month—it will ban polio vaccinations of Pakistani children in the region it controls.

Just another way they hide behind children, eh?

Not that I'm saying we have a responsibility to protect everyone, of course. But as we try to figure out what will best defend our interests in that region, don't even try to pretend that the Taliban are anything but SOBs. Let's not make them our SOBs.
