Fuelish

Iran's secret nuclear program is in the news:

The U.N. nuclear watchdog is expected this week to issue its most detailed report yet on research in Iran seen as geared to developing atomic bombs, heightening international suspicions of Iranian intentions and fuelling Middle East tension.

So, Iran is run by a bunch of religious nutballs who are secretly building nuclear weapons. And the headline to the story says "IAEA report on Iran set to stoke Middle East tension".

Ah, the IAEA report is what is stoking tension in the Middle East. Not Iran's single-minded pursuit of nuclear weapons while denying they are doing it.

Got it. I was unclear on that. Thank goodness the press can share their insight on even the murkiest of murky subjects.

UPDATE: Strategypage has more. And confirms my air corridor speculation. Although I was wrong that Iraqi responsibility for air traffic control implies transfer of air control responsibility. I guess that expires at the end of the year along with our troop presence.
