The 2011 Sack of London

So will any of the Visigoths looting Britain's cities face justice?

Delingpole thinks it is doubtful.

And if the children of the better off aren't being punished for their attitude of "just do it" lawbreaking for Green causes, what chance is there for punishing the public assistance crowd that doesn't have the same command of the Queen's English?

Heck, I suppose we should be grateful that the looters aren't storming coal power plants, eh? It's just local damage and hardships on anyone unlucky enough to be in the path of the barbarians.

Face it, the British have a system for dealing with lawbreakers designed by people fully confident that they can afford to live far away from the people who take the King's coin for sitting in their flat watching football and then break the laws at will. These members of the dole-serving class are so insulated from the reality they have created that they can even pretend not to bear any responsibility for the culture they've nurtured.

We're not where Britain is yet. But too many people here would love to adopt a more humane and caring European attitude towards so-called "crime."
