In the Libyan Littoral

I missed this action. An American P-3 hit a Libyan coast guard vessel firing at merchant ships in Misrata's port. I assume the plane used a Harpoon missile. The ship limped to shore. In addition, an American A-10 struck two smaller craft sailing with the larger vessel. One of those was destroyed and the other was abandoned. I don't know if the A-10 used precision weapons from high up or strafed with their 30mm chain gun. Probably the former. That's safer since it can be done from high altitude. But I'm just guessing. If we didn't think there was an air defense threat, we'd have just strafed them.
