One-Point Weekend

Mister and I went to the Red Wings game yesterday afternoon. It was a great day, and we were primed for a fun time after Detroit's good streak to reach 6th place in the West:

Well, on the bright side, we scored a late goal to send the game against Nashville into overtime. Sixteen seconds in, we lost. But still, we avoided a no-point game. It would have been nice to get two, but oh well. We still had fun. These were the best seats we've had so far--row 16--and the view was great. Next time I'll see if I can get something down behind the glass.

Today we went down to defeat against Philadelphia. That sucked. Osgood may have been a little rusty, in the early part of the game.

And on Easter, there may have been no points involved, but Lamb hunted down her Easter basket and the kids colored eggs. So that was a great success!

Neither of them likes hard boiled eggs (or "coddled" eggs, which is technically how I cooked them, apparently. Who knew?), so I'll be on an egg-based diet the next week or so.
