We Are Not Amused

Instapundit notes a bit of censorship by our ruling class:

The Olympics are all about local elites trying to look good to elites from elsewhere.

That's really the feature of this age, isn't it? There are global elites who feel more comfortable with their fellow elites in other countries than they do with the uncouth peasants that shop in their malls and super-size their meals.

As people start to notice the eagerness of our elites to bypass those backward peasants who stand in the way of wise and enlightened policies, what will the repercussions be?

I have no idea what it will be, but there surely will be a reaction, no?
