Guam is getting its air defenses beefed up as it prepares to be a major Marine Corps base alongside the Navy and Air Force:

As the United States moves 8,000 marines from Okinawa to Guam, the air defenses of that American island are being improved.

THAAD, Patriot, and SLAMRAAM, to be specific.
