Mercy Killing

The Chinese have called in Dr. Kevorkian to minister to their sick but unruly client state:

China has changed its policy and agreed to enforce UN sanctions on North Korea. Fed up with the infighting among senior officials in North Korea, and continued inability to do anything about their mismanaged economy (and inability to feed its citizens), the Chinese are now stopping illegal goods (like materials for building missiles and nuclear weapons) from entering via China.

It's just a matter of time, now.

Of course, we still don't know whether "it" means collapse of the North Korean regime, collapse of North Korea, or a desperate war launched by Pyongyang to forestall either of those--followed by one of those after South Korea and America defeat the invasion.

I wonder what finally changed the minds of the Chinese? They seemed to enjoy their little loose cannon despite the obvious nuclear proliferation that would have taken place if North Korea survives to be a nuclear power.
