You Have to Admire Their Determination

While our president speaks of exit strategies for Afghanistan and our Congressional leadership gives our military a year to show progress that even they can grasp (which they could not in fall 2007 as the Surge in Iraq succeeded), al Qaeda still discusses their multi-year plan to (dramatic pause) rule the world!

It has seven phases, beginning with a phase 1 of murdering innocent people in large numbers. Then it logically concludes with the last phase:

Phase 7, “final victory.” All the world’s inhabitants will be forced to either convert to Islam, or submit (as second class citizens) to Islamic rule. This will be completed by 2020 or thereabouts.

These jihadis may be murderous nutballs, but they do have ambition. And no carping ninnies are whining to bin Laden about rushing to phase 7 within the next year or the whole jihad thing is called right off, mister!

I sure hope that Cairo speech's effects kick in before phase 6 starts.
