The Issue is in Doubt

The new Crew in Washington spent many years telling us that if only President Bush would talk to the Iranians without preconditions, we could settle the nuclear dispute with Iran.

Apparently not:

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton expressed doubt Monday that Iran would respond to the Obama administration's diplomatic initiatives toward Tehran on nuclear and other issues, a senior State Department official said.

Hold on a second here! Are you telling me that the new spirit of hope and change yoked to a new big-brained nuanced diplomacy is helpless in the face of Iranian determination to get nuclear missiles and spread terrorism?

Huh.
