17-774

Given that it is in our interests to shut down the environment that incubates recruits for jihadi organizations and supports the jihadi ideology around the Moslem world, we have to bolster the ability of moderate Moslems to resist the Islamo-fascist ideology. Though more numerous than the jihadis and their allies, the moderates are at a severe disadvantage--being moderate--when pitted against the violent jihadis.

So our efforts to kill jihadis and expose the madness of jihad that eagerly kills Moslems as well as Christians, Hindus, and Jews will help the moderates by reducing the ability of the jihadis to kill moderate Moslems who could reform Islam to gut the appeal of jihad.

Yet even as we and our few serious allies kill jihadis and attack their organization, we manage to undermine the work of our militaries and intelligence people.

What kind of perverse message does this send to moderate Moslems who could be persuaded to stand up against the rabid jihadis who threaten with the scimitar over any objection to jihadi goals or methods?

Number 774. One year to the day Aqsa Parvez was stolen from this world -- allegedly by two members of her family -- that is all there is at her gravesite to show she even existed.

Section 17, plot number 774, in the Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton, to be precise. No name, no date of birth, no date of death. No nothing.

But resting here is a girl who dared to be Canadian.

She was strangled Dec. 10, 2007 inside her family's Longhorn Trail home.

Her father and brother will be in court next week to answer to charges of first-degree murder.

At Parvez' gravesite, one would never know the 16-year-old Grade 11 Applewood Heights Secondary School student was buried here. You would never know anybody was buried here.

"If not for a couple of her girlfriends, who put some flowers there, there would be nothing," said a disgusted Tarek Fatah, founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress and author of Chasing a Mirage, The Tragic Illusion of an Islamic State. "It's disgraceful." ...

Speaking in general terms, Fatah said "a victim of an honour killing is always left in an unmarked grave. Imagine caring more about your faith than your child? When this happens, it shows they don't give a damn about her and the fact a family has chosen to not put the name on a grave proves the point that they are embarrassed and gives an insight into honour killings."

You'll recall this crime.

So the honor killing is condoned by refusing to proclaim her identity even in death. Which is fitting, since she was denied her identity during life. That's why she was killed. She wanted to be an individual. That is too Western to be tolerated by the jihadis. And the moderates are too frightened to stand up to the final insult.

But it isn't just the silence over the victims of jihad. The jihadis themselves are treated with a deference that is sickening. A suicide bomber from Minnesota has been blessed by his religion with a funeral and claims of victimhood:

FOX 9 has learned DNA tests have confirmed Shirwa Ahmed was one of five suicide bombers who killed himself and 29 others last October in northern Somalia .

He is also a Minnesotan and a naturalized U.S. citizen.

The FBI helped return Ahmed's remains to his family.

At a Twin Cities cemetery in Burnsville Wednesday afternoon, the suspected suicide bomber was laid to rest.

Shirwa Ahmed, 27, was given a traditional Muslim burial.

Family and friends did not wish to talk about the circumstances of his death.

Community activist Omar Jamal is one of the few who will.

“Honestly I look at him seriously as a victim and not as a criminal, I think of him as a young victim," says Jamal. "

So a killer is accorded full burial honors. And the FBI helped get the body parts back to his family and community for a touching send off. Again, another message is sent to moderate Moslems about what our society is willing to tolerate in the name of multi-cultural tolerance.

We teach moderate Moslems to stay quiet and mind their own business. They may want us to beat the jihadis but they can't risk their own lives to resist them. It is a wonder so many Moslems do stand up to the jihadis and not a wonder that more don't.
