Torture in Iraq

The Lefties are right, there is torture going on in Iraq.

And we have the documents showing how it is done.

Sadly for our Left, it is not a Dick Cheney memo that they are sure is one subpoena way from being unearthed.

I'm sure you've heard of the al Qaeda comic book on torture.

You haven't? Well, unless you watch Fox News or read blogs, no doubt. I truly want to know whether our Media Class is as biased against winning this war as they appear or whether they are simply that God-awful at reporting basic news. I am honestly prepared to go with either explanation at this point. Heck, I'll accept both at once if it comes to it.

Well, regardless, here it is.

You'll note that dog collars and loud rap music are not part of the illustrations. There are no drawings of how to put women's panties over a head. Nor are really cold captives shown shivering. Not a single picture of someone forced to stand for long hours.

Not even the horrors of rice pilaf is shown.

Nope. Just actual torture and maiming techniques that our enemies like to use.

This is torture, people. This is what our enemies do. We don't torture no matter how much lawyers for those scum complain:

Wells Dixon, a defense attorney who met with detainees at Camp 5 last month, said many showed signs of desperation.

"I can assure you that it is hell on earth," Dixon said. "You can see the despair on the faces of detainees. It's transparent."

Other critics said detainees are frustrated at being held indefinitely without charges.

"You have five and a half years of desperation there with no legal way out," said Michael Ratner, president of the New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights, which represents hundreds of Guantanamo detainees. "Sadly, it leads to people being so desperate they take their own lives."

Hell on Earth? No, captives of our enemies endure hell on earth--if they are allowed to live, that is.

Defenders of terrorist thugs can just shut up about what we do. That would only be fair--since they also shut up about what the terrorists do.
