Too Tired to Win?

Our troops shouldn't be even thinking about what is going on back here that seems to threaten our support for winning.

Our support for the war should have no expiration date. So suck it up, saddle up, and press on.

And remember, too, as I've mentioned before, we are trying to win by saving our enemies from themselves. If we grow too tired to win this Long War the compassionate way, we will be forced to win very ugly:
[L]et us hope that democracy prevails in Iraq, that our massive aid is actually appreciated by the Middle East, that diplomacy ultimately works with Iran, that Syria quits supporting terrorists, and that Hamas and Hezbollah cease their rocket attacks against Israel -- more for all their sakes than ours.
We have the power to destroy our enemies. It is just that we've decided not to use it that way. Not yet anyway.
